How pricing works

We do not publish dollar amounts on this site. Fees are quoted after qualification, using the same method every time: buyer labor saved, loss prevented, or deploy scope — not seat-based SaaS math. If the economics do not fit your team, we will say so before you pay anything.

  • No free pilots — paid evaluation or full license
  • License + royalty — no equity, no co-development that touches IP
  • Sealed binaries on your hardware — no source, no cloud upload required
  • Same inputs → same output hash — auditable, not "AI cleaned it"

Data Forge

Offline merge and cleaning for recurring spreadsheet workflows

Enterprise license

Production deploy after a successful evaluation or direct qualification. Floor quoted on order form — typically multi-year, tied to recurring savings on your side.

  • Air-gapped or on-prem sealed binaries
  • Golden tests your team can rerun in CI
  • Maintenance + security membrane updates
  • Royalty on derivative products (defined in order form)

How we calculate a quote (Data Forge)

  1. Count how many people spend real time each month merging vendor files, fixing headers, and reconciling duplicates.
  2. Multiply by fully loaded salary (salary + benefits + overhead for your region).
  3. Multiply by the fraction of their year on that work (often 25–40% once you include meetings and rework).
  4. That annual labor number is the anchor. Evaluation is priced so one week of proof is rational versus one year of that spend. License is priced so multi-year savings clear a strong return.
Worked example (your numbers go in the cells)
Analysts on merge/clean work (N) your headcount
Fully loaded cost each (L) your loaded salary
Fraction of year on that work (f) your %
Annual labor on cleaning N × L × f
Realistic reduction with Forge (s) your assumed %
Annual savings labor × s

Paid evaluation is proof on your files, not a free trial. Enterprise license follows successful eval or direct qualification. We send a written quote when your labor math supports a serious deploy.

Good fit

  • ✓ Six or more people touch vendor or internal file merges monthly
  • ✓ Conflicts between sources are resolved in notebooks or email today
  • ✓ Reviewers ask "where did this number come from?" and the answer is unclear
  • ✓ Air-gapped, regulated, or no-cloud-upload policy

Probably not a fit

  • One analyst cleaning a single CSV occasionally
  • Shopping for low-cost monthly SaaS ETL
  • Need source code or white-label without a separate agreement

Common questions

Can we negotiate below the floor?
Floors exist because below them the buyer's own economics do not support a serious deploy. If your team's annual cleaning labor is modest (small team or occasional merges), Data Forge is probably not the right fit — and we will tell you that directly.
Why not a free trial?
You receive a sealed binary, documentation, and vendor availability. That is a deliverable, not a marketing funnel. Free trials attract browsers; paid evaluations attract teams with real merge pain.
Do we get source code?
No. You get sealed binaries, golden tests, audit artifacts, and optional source escrow under a master agreement with a neutral third party — not a GitHub repo.
How do we pay?
Wire or ACH after qualification and signed order form. Quotes are delivered in writing; high-value agreements are invoiced, not impulse checkout.
What about equity or revenue share instead of license fee?
No. License fee plus contract-defined royalty. No equity, ever.
